So excited to see this month InStyle Magazine. I was extremely flattered when they featured my print in their Passion Show section for their Valentine Gift Guide.

Decisions....

I recently created a variety of international Home Is Where The Heart Is prints. This has put one thing on my mind- where to visit this Spring. Here are a couple of places I'm considering. What about you?

Color Palette

So excited for Spring weather, holidays, and colors. This color palette was inspired by the above photo found here. A beautiful wedding done by planners that I wish I had around for my wedding nearly 6 years ago. Enjoy today!

Playdough Valentine

Love doesn't need to cost a thing with this play dough valentine. As you can probably guess, my 3-year-old, Milo and I had a lot of fun making this one together. We followed this play dough recipe. This will make the perfect valentine for his little friends. If you'd like this free printable to tag onto your play dough valentine, become a follower and make a comment with your email. Mini: Using a baby food jar! my favorite ;)

Chalkboard Paint Mugs

The evenings here are dropping down to 30 degrees outside. The plus side to this chill factor is snuggling up to a warm fire with this pinterest find in our hands. I saw these a while back and knew it was something I wanted to have in my kitchen cupboard. The mugs were a steal of a deal, just a $1 a piece;) So with a few sprays of chalkboard paint they were all done.

I'm excited to get some use out of these.

Valentine's Day is Approaching

I'm starting to feel the post Christmas blues.  So before I let that feeling settle in, let's kick this next holiday off right.  While I'm still in the spirit of giving, how about some free valentine bag-tag printable. Below is the basic printable and then a step-by-step of adding some Martha Stewart Craft "sparkle" aka glitter.

What you need:

1. Glitter glue

2. Glitter

3. Valentine printable trimmed

4. Low/wide tubberware-to contain the glitter ;)

Steps:

1. Trace the letters with the glitter glue

2. Sprinkle with glitter

3. Shake the tubberware

4. Let it dry.

5. Then fold the tag in have, along the dotted line.

6. Staple to you treat or toy filled bag. (These are sized to fit Target's treat sized bags)

7. Done

Below are four tags ready to print on 8.5x11 cardstock.

Coldbuster!

So many great ways to start a new year! Lucky for me, I entered the new year with a cold. That allowed me to explore new coldbuster recipes that not only tasted yummy, but were healthy as well! {Always a delight} I came across this gem from Tracy Anderson. This combination of carrots and parsnips is so good, you'll want to eat it year round. I tried it before, but this time around it warmed my soul. Mmmmm!
